Our New Baby is Here!
We’re thrilled to announce that our new baby girl, Annaliese, was born September 8th. In light of the many challenges and complications before and during the pregnancy, it’s a beautiful miracle that she was born full-term and perfectly healthy. I’m so proud of Hannah for the bravery she showed in facing those challenges. She maintained a positive and uplifting presence for me and our kids despite serious sleep loss and lots of physical discomfort.
Annaliese is our fifth daughter, and the other kids absolutely adore her. All day, they ask to take turns holding her, and the house is filled with excited announcements:
“Dad, she opened her eyes!”
“Dad, she sneezed!”
“Dad, isn’t she the most precious thing you’ve ever seen!”
“Dad, having a baby sister is the best thing that ever happened to me, and getting kittens is the second best!”
Our hearts are full, and we hope that this month will be filled with joy for you as well.
