We had a blast with a lot of people at our pumpkin carving and decorating get-together. What a wonderful opportunity to create some new friendships and strengthen existing friendships.
Baby Annaliese learned to walk a few weeks ago, and she’s working hard on learning to run. Her confidence is stronger than her ability right now, so she’s still falling a lot. She also has been giving lots of gifts to people lately. She’ll pick a favored person and bring one DVD after another or one piece of laundry after another enthusiastically. So fun!
Ashlinn and Carys have been waiting for several months to see Hadestown, one of their favorite musicals, and they were thrilled to finally go with Hannah a couple of weeks ago. In an equally big win, Hannah was able to leave the baby at home for six hours, and all went well.
We managed to squeeze in a few other parent-child dates as well. They are a great way to stay connected with the kids amidst the busyness of our everyday activities.
